Early Career/ Lunching with the Leaders

Lunch will be provided. This networking event provides early career delegates the opportunity to speak to experts in the field about their research and career in an informal setting. Each expert will speak for a couple of minutes on their experience followed by time for questions.

Case Presentation Breakfast

Date: Wednesday 18 September

Time: 7 am – 8:30 am

The Case Presentation Breakfast is held to provide an opportunity for trainees/early career clinicians to present difficult cases for discussion with peers.  It offers the presenter valuable presentation experience, clinical guidance and the presenters selected for this session are offered complimentary registration to the conference.   We encourage mentors and experienced clinicians to attend to provide expert guidance in discussions.

FAMSACA Breakfast

Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast and hear about some of the interesting challenges encountered in sexual assault medicine: the ethical dilemmas faced with HIV positive patients and suspects,  the significance of non-fatal strangulation and is pornography impacting what we see in sexual assault are some examples of what will be discussed?
